Snorkelling Koh Phangan is a very popular activity that can be enjoyed by everyone. Snorkeling trips are scheduled based on the weather and demand.
Sail Rock
Asia Blue makes daily dive and snorkel trips to Sail Rock, the best dive site in the Gulf of Thailand. Above all you will certainly have the best chance of seeing Whale Sharks here!
Giant Groupers lurk in the shadows, hiding under overhangs whilst Moray eels venture out from holes in the walls, staring at you inquisitively as you watch them.
At certain times of the year the ocean around Sail Rock is extremely nutritious, which attracts seasonal visitors such as the mighty whaleshark
Although there is no guarantee, Sail Rock is one of the dive sites we more commonly see the majestic Whaleshark visiting.
On a good day with great visibility and a calm ocean, Sail Rock is magnificent and rightly respected as the premier dive site in the region.
Sail Rock has a large diversity of marine life species. You can easily spot some various grouper species, especially the Honeycomb grouper is beautiful. Muray eels also come in different colors and body patterns.
In the blue you often have groups of fish schooling or shoaling around Sail Rock. Batfish and Bannerfish are really special to spot in a big group, like a performance underwater. Closer to the reef you have countless damselfish, butterfly fish couples and the magnificent Angelfish swimming around. Nudibranch and small crabs can be spotted with a good eye.

- Snorkeling trip to Sail Rock, you will join a scuba boat. You will be snorkeling for about 3 hours as the scuba divers are diving. There is no tour guide.
